As foreign students, we come to the US and contribute immensely to the university, the students and the environment we live in. yet, when it comes to the bottom line, we are treated unequally many times. have you faced racism at any point in your academic career as an international student in the US? do share them in this question.

nope, i was a canadian non-foreign student with tons of foreign student friends.

i think you can either dwell on the neatives or the positives.

I think when it comes to the bottom line, for the most part visa students, at least the ones in Canada do o.k.!!! Yes many have experienced racism but most also experienced the positives of a new environment, in some cases an open one.

The place where they get unfair treatment is in the fees.

In actual fact, alot of time the pride of the school lies in the foreign students. This is true in science and engineering any way. Areas that don't bring marketability, attract less foreign students.

(On occasion, i've also observed racism in immoigrants and visa students too. racist attitudes are sadly every where.

"specific all and sundry has the rights to protest and that they(unlawful immgirants)are risk-free by using international regulations yet because we live in a monopolar worldwide governed by using the US the respond woulds be no. " No, every physique does not have the "precise to protest". Are christians allowed to fruitfully protest the prejudice in the direction of evoloution? Are they allowed to protest the actuality that maximum religions might nicely be freely and brazenly practiced in colleges, aside from theirs? we live in a "unfastened" usa, however the freeman will consistently want extra freedoms. Freedom is in no way adequate.
