today i ran outside for the first time in awhile, i came inside and my eye is all red?

there was snow on the ground which made it very bright outside, i know ive heard of snowblindsness, but i think it may be wind burn?? it was very windy out today.

yes..but u prolly have something in ur eye that is irritating it..not sunburn

Yes, you can get sunburn on any area of skin. However, if you were outside running, the irritation could be an allergy or dry eyes due to the wind. Try some visine to lubricate your eye and remove any debris that may have gotten inside.

Sunburn in the eye, that's as good as the kitten with cold sores on its' lips. This site is the BEST ever man!!

yes, it will burn, and feel grainy, like you have sand in your eyes. also, your eyes will water a lot. this sin't normally caused by the sun though, the only places i've heard of "sun burned" eyes is people who wield without a helmet

One could get sunburn on the eyelid, not the eyeball. If it's on the eyeball, it's something else that's bothering your eye. Things probably fell into it.
