I hate him because he is a jerk in real life. (busted for pot, multiple accusations of him sexually harassing the Divas and being a jerk to the other wrestlers). He has received a huge push because of who is father is and because he is friends with HHH.
Here is a story about him a guy told me about: A couple of years ago the RAW had a house show at a nearby city. This guy went to go drop off a relative at the airport. While there he runs into Sgt Slaughter (he works as a WWE road agent) who, being a nice guy, takes him to meet the wrestlers who were having dinner at the Mean Gene's Hamburger joint at the airport. He met the wrestlers and got their autographs. They were all nice, except Orton who was a jerk. HHH even apologized for Ortons behavior.
That's why I hate Orton.

Mostly due to the tasteless angle last year where he told Rey that Eddie was in Hell. Staged or not, you don't go saying stuff like that just to get cheap heat.
