No, I am a gator fan myself, but the gators get off to slow starts all the time. They are very poised and will go on surges in critcal parts of the game. Butler did a great job of slowing the pace down and knocking down 3s (mostly in the first half), but the Al Horford was too much of a presence in the post for Butler to handle and Florida stepped up when it really counted just like they have done all season in these types of situations. I give Butler a lot of credit for the way they played, but in the end Florida was just too much for Butler to handle.

Not surprised at all. It's that time of the year. Teams are coming to play. Actually they stayed with Florida (probably the best team in the Nation) the entire game. Skill and a lot of luck were with Florida at the end of the game. Butler should definately hold their heads up high. They earned a lot of respect from round ball fans and I'm sure from the Florida players.

Not really- you don't win 29 games by accident and remember all the way back in November they beat Tennessee, who ended up in the Sweet 16. They played the type of game they had to- hitting three and frustrating Florida, as long as they could until the experienced Gators, who know how to win March games, put it in the gear only they have and run them down in the last four minutes.

No way--Butler's a really strong team. I'm glad they challenged Florida.
Of course, I went to UCLA so I already have some leftover anger toward FL. :)
