Right click on your desktop and click PROPERTIES.

Click the settings tab and adjust your resolution until it's the size you like.

Open your Start menu. Click "Control panel" (if using Vista) Click "Appearance and Personalization" next Click "Change Screen Resolution" or if using older OS click "Personalization" then "Display Settings" The Bigger the numbers (EX: 1208x820) the Smaller the text and images will be the Smaller the number (EX: 800x600) the Bigger the text and images.

Press those buttons on your monitor and select the horizontal/vertical size, then ... resize it.
