I'm 13 years old. I got my first period on Jan.3 (yay). It lasted TEN DAYS. Then I got my next one on Feb.5. It lasted about 4 or 5 days. Now it's already March 25 and I haven't gotten it yet (im not pregnant). I know periods are supposed to be irregular...but c'mon! Could there be anything else going on besides irregularity?

It took me two years for my periods to get regulated. It is different with everyone.

I'm not an expert on periods but my friend has the most random period pattern. It's lasted for over a year and is still continuing. I dont think you have anything to worry about.

Well it takes a while for your cycle to become regular. Also things such as stress and changes in the home or school can disrupt your cycle.I'm going to be 15 soon and sometimes stress from exams and stuff disrupt my cycle. Its all normal. My friend told me about this website: http://www.beinggirl.com/ and i find that it has been very helpful at it deals with issues like this.I hope that you also find it helpful.

It is normal for periods to be irregular when you just start them.

Just wait a few years and it should stabilize by the time you're 18.
