From everything I've read it could take up to a couple of months to a couple of years for pubertal gynecomastia to go away. Well I've had it for 4 years and its not gone.

How much does an average gynecomastia surgery cost?

reducing the body fat is the best non-surgical method to help the condition. adipose tissue is a major conversion site of testosterone to estrogen.

prices vary, it's outpatient surgery so it should be around $5k or sor, give or take

In most cases, as long as the gynecomastia is not being caused by the fact you are overweight, it should go away by itself. It may take a few years, though -- you're still only 15 and it may be that it's going to take a bit more time for your hormones to balance out correctly.

Before leaping into surgery, please talk to your doctor about some other options. There are many medications that cause gynecomastia (and marijuana can also exacerbate it, so avoid that drug if you aren't already), and I would assume you've seen a doctor who could already have ruled those out as the cause of your case. There are also medications you can take to help balance out your hormones, and a doctor could decide if any of these are right for you. Additionally, if you are overweight, you need to lose weight in order to best take care of this condition, and a doctor or nutritionist can help you do that. Good luck and hang in there!
