Both Logan and Hunter sound like boy names.
No offense.
Logan is better though because I know like two girls that are named that, but Hunter sounds straight up like a boy.

Logan and Hunter are among the group of names (like Ashley) that were originally boys' names but have been widely adopted by girls in the last 20-30 years. So basically they're both unisex names in this day and age, although both of them are actually far more popular as boys' names at the moment. Logan was the 26th most popular boys name in the US in 2005, and Hunter was 53rd most popular. As girls' names, Logan was the 410th most popular, and Hunter (which was semi-popular for girls ten years ago) is not even in the top 1000. So either one would be an accepted name for a girl, but if she any classmates in school with the same name they will almost certainly be boys, which is a recipe for the poor girl getting teased a lot.
Here's a link to a great site for baby names, if she'd like some more ideas. You can look at the top one-thousand US names for each gender (which is where I got the popularity information above), or you can look up any name to see a graph of its historical popularity - so you can see if it's in vogue, on the way out, or hopelessly old-fashioned: http://www.thinkbabynames.com/

Personally, I'm tired of people naming their babies trendy, ambiguous names. I am by no means traditional (heh... I live with my boyfriend out of wedlock...), but I like when girls are named girls names. What's with the name "Riley" anyway?
Okay, Logan and Hunter are names for boys..... like in the mid-1980's. Tell your friend to pick up copy of "1001 names for baby" (or whatever the book is called) and *really* go through it. It has huge lists of names, with lots of definitions and meanings, and information on what current pop culture thinks of when reading the name.
I think it's easier for a child growing up to have a gender determined name - did you ever see the first episode of "Dr. Quinn - Medicine Woman"?
Anyway, Megan and Kelly are beautiful names for girls. What about Katherine, Elizabeth, Julie, ect... "traditional" names that aren't used as frequently anymore?

I'm not really a huge fan of boy's names being used on girls. It can be confusing on paper, and the names she has chosen also don't seem to go with her other daughters names. If she really wants to use them, perhaps they could take the middle name slot. I do have some suggestions of other names with a similar style to Logan and Hunter that she may like though:
Piper, Alexis, Danika, Josie, Tamsin, Madison, Harper, Cameryn, Jordana, Mackenzie, Kennedy, Samara, Adrienne, Christine, Courtney, Harley, Kendall, Sharni, Addisyn, Fallon, Ryleigh, Rhiannon, Taryn, Libby, Montana, Dakota, Shannon, Billie, Kendra, Emerson, Ricki-Lee, Drew, Sheridan, Darcey, Tatum, Pepper, Nova, Saige, Lacole, Esther, Skylar, Makenna,

My dog, a male, is named Logan. Get a baby name book and look mat meanings/origins of names-it is great for helping to decide. Otherwise, mention George Costanza's (from the show Seinfeld) favorite name - SEVEN (7). Ha ha

logan and hunter are totally boys names. do the poor girl a favor and give her a pretty, girly name. not something mannish or androgynous like those two names. naming a child is a BIG deal. they have to live with that name for the rest of their lives. be aware of that as you choose a name. the other two girls names are not great, but at least they are undeniably girls names. think pretty names like samantha, jessica, melissa, isabelle, chloe...something girly is the only way to go.

I've never heard of a girl named Hunter, but I like Logan for a girl. If she wants it to be more girlie, try spelling it this way:
Logyn or Loagan or Logen. I would also put a girlie middle name with it, such as Elizabeth, Emily, Charlotte, or Annabelle.
