i just got a new ipod and i just want to know how much time does it take it to get charged

I let mine sit overnight the first time and it was fully-charged in the morning.

It varies mainly, how long the iPod has been on the shelf. For new ones(Basically, you get when it release like Shuffle 2G) a couple of minutes to thirty minutes. As it gets older it increases to about at most three hours.

I have a creative MP3 player. The booklet in mine said to let it sit until the fully charge symbol showed up. I would assume that if your battery shows full, then it would be fine to use it then. If it starts to run low just plug it in again.
