Why do even the most POPULAR JOCKS are too intimidated to ask me to PROM?
What is wrong with me?They all just stare..
Here are some facts about me:
Physically I guess I am considered attractive: 34c-25-36 Long wavy brown hair that I sometimes put to the side, olive/tanned skin, blue/green eyes, full lips and straight white teeth that took years to get that way.
Personality wise I am a little shy but flirty, straight-foward, intriguing (as people say), nice, funny, intelligent, creative, caring, and mysterious.
I only went out with 1 guy and to my luck he was the captain of the football team, the buffest guy in school and since than no one asks me out.

maybe your conceded......maybe you should come down to Earth and date some nice guy's and not worry if there a jock..who do you like? do you only worry about image and how they make you look if you go out with them?..do you have any crushes?...based on personality and not who they are?...nerds become Bill Gates.....jocks become ..a mechanic!

So what happened with the football captain? I would say that you are probably a nice girl. At least, it sounds so from your description of yourself. Likely he went out with you to see if he could have sex with you and when that didn't happen, he told the other guys. If you would have had sex with him, you would have your phone ringing off the hook. Just go to high school, enjoy the time with your friends, and head to college. You will think back on your high school years in 10 years and wonder what you were every thinking! What I found in my class was these jocks don't turn out to be the doctors and lawyers. It's the geeks that do. Find yourself a nice boyfriend.

Since you yourself are an attractive person and if what you write is true are interesting also you went out with the captain there fore the rest must think they are not up to your standards..they are intimidated by you my dear. That is a plus for you and minus for them. Because do to them thinking that way they maybe missing out on dating a very good looking interesting girl.

The football captain probably told everyone you were a freak or maybe someone who is jealous of you is spreading around rumors. And confidence is a good thing. Just dont let it blow up to conceit. Go with a bunch of friends to the prom, enjoy yourself and dont drink and drive!!!

Well lets hope it is your "destiny angle" saving you for the better guys ahead in life. There is NO NEED to date ANYONE from some pissy school the law makes you attend. Looks can pay off, so use them on older men, get rich early, and don't waste your youth on "Jocks" Females start to "lose" their looks at 25.Stay away from possible losers until then.

It sounds like maybe the captain of the football team has scared the other guys. He may be giving them the impression that you are HIS property and they better leave you alone.
That's probably why they stare. THAT and they think you're pretty. He's the captain and they want to stay on his good side.
That's all I can think of and it is very likely.

my guess is that the guy said something to the rest of the team to set them off. without going into detail it could be anything from a mysterious feminine problem, to being overly cold. he could have even said you and he are going out but don't want others to know so they aren't asking. high school has little to have with appearance and more to have with perception. think of grade, middle and junior high the little "rumors" that float out there. that is more than likely what the problem is. at least that is a guess. maybe ask one of them out instead.

I remember this stage during High School. The best way to tackle this "problem" is easy. Just ask who ever YOU wont to go to the prom with. Who ever said that guys have to ask you, must be crazy. You say your confident........so USE your confidense.

Maybe they see you more as a friend than girlfriend material? Have you shown interest in the man? Or have you been more "friendly" to them in a friend type way? It goes both ways sometimes.

maybe since the captain of the football team is sometimes cosidered "TOP DOG" some people are intimidated in spite and fear of him.
