You're kinda picky, but you could try Eureka Seven. It's about an alien-type girl and a human boy who fall in love and have to save humanity together. There's mechs in it, too, if you like that; Eureka (the alien girl) can feel what the mechs are thinking. I kind of came into the series halfway through, but I love it and I'm buying the DVDs so I can watch the whole thing start to finish.

you are a hard one to please. you already saw most of the good ones. scryed was a pretty good one. Eureka 7 is ok as mentioned above. but comedy action is hard to come by.
