The person I once was, was kind of an a**. I must admit that sometimes that person comes back but I try hard to keep it away. I really want to be someone anybody can turn to and trust and love just the way I am.

I know what I was and I know I'm not there any longer so that is a pretty clear separation. Now, what I am now versus what I want to be is a constant blurry line and can easily be crossed back and forth a million times. There isn't a separation there because in order to be who you want to be, you have to start now.

To seperate who you are takes work and ambition. Me, Myself and I. Me is what I was, Myself is in the middle of making progress, and I am what I am today due to hard work and devotion. Life's a dance, sometimes you lead and sometimes you follow. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other.

I don't. I like who I am, who I've always been, and who I want to be.

I don't try.
Without the me that I was, the me that I want to be would have no grasp of the me that I'd use to become the me I want to be.

See?
