you dont normally gain a lot of weight in the first months because youre throwing up. Most of the last part of pregnancy is when you get heavy. As long as what you eat is healthy and youre not cramming food in all the time you're fine- it's normal. Most of that weight is the baby getting ready to be born. Yes, diabetes can be a problem, but you always get a glucose test when you're pregnant, so thats not an issue.
Ask your doc about these things- that's what they're there for.

Your probably not excersising or walkign around like you normally are, you are not suppose to increase your eating for two as people say the baby doesnt eat what you eat, the baby just takes the nutrients from your body, not from you intestines, so be very careful try just sticking to fruit and veggies, and proteins like chicken, grill things instead of frying them
In a whole pregnancy a woman should gain between 9 kilos to 13 kilos, alot of women end up putting on loads more, but if you are responsible about eating exercise etc you wont.
The first 4 months you normally loose weight, if you put on wieght it scientifically because of the extra weight in your boobs, the amniotic fluid and the baby ,but remember the baby hardly weighs a thing yet, so you really shoudlnt be putting on that much weight so early
I woudlnt worry about diabetes yet, and that only happens if you are eating too much sugar, which means that your current diet is not good, and too much sugar anyway will make you put on weight, viscious circle.
Best of luck with everthing, eat well because after the baby is born its super ahrd to loose the weight, take care now so its less work after
Hugs

Relax. Normal weight gain for pregnancy is 20-40 pounds. Most of that weight is water retention, bodily fluids of the womb--like amniotic fluid (bigger the baby, the more it needs), and the baby, itself. Diabetes can cause sporadic weight gain, but like I said, you are perfectly normal as long as you fall into that weight range above. Just don't make the mistake of thinking pregnancy=making a pig of myself with no consequences, and you will be fine.

29 lb is the usual encouraged weight acquire for the period of being pregnant. You are doing first-rate! Beyond the 25-35 lb that's encouraged (offered you're now not chubby to begin with), your weight acquire has little to do with youngster's beginning weight. Besides, greater than eight lb, you're watching at a expertise C-phase. I won a whole 50 lb. Towards the tip my OB advised I scale down on delicate carbs like rice and candy culmination like grapes and melons. I had a 7 hour hard work and popped him out without problems. My son was once born 7 lb five oz., very healthful. But 7 months after supply, I am chubby. I have misplaced 20 lb (I'm breastfeeding), nonetheless 30 to move. Looking ahead, I plan to acquire 30 lb for the moment youngster. I suspect you obtained wiser after your fifty five lb acquire as good. 30 lb is first-rate, desire you are going to have a exclusive supply and healthful youngster.
