I am not trying to stir up trouble I just want to understand peoples motives.
My question is if you don't like someone's question, why don't you just ignore it? Why do people feel compelled to submit an opinion of the person as an answer to a question, why don't you just move on?
For example who do you think the father is question. Why do you have to answer, well you should have kept your legs shut?
Don't use freedom of speech, to me that is just an excuse for being hateful.
I am asking in pregnancy because this is where I see people be the harshest although my question is more about human behavior.
Trust me I have had my share of smart remarks cross my mind, but I don't submit them, because I personally do not see a point. So tell me why you can not control this urge?
If you think it is fun then say so, I am just curious here.

congrats to just bei... I was wondering who the first person to insult me was going to be.
I am just asking what makes people tick, no other particular reason and they are my points to waste. Be happy I gave you two easy points.

my whole thing here is simply this: people aren't themselves online. the internet is a mask for many people. it is their own ego that pours out from the keyboard onto the screen. as far as what makes me tick? ignorance. people are so used to using the internet for EVERYTHING. this society is lazy. instead of walking around the block to the grocery store, we drive. we take our car down the road to see a friend who lives 3 blocks away. and, my favorite, you call pizza hut when it's 2 blocks away for delivery. common. we are gimps. we hide behind the screens all the time. some of us are being nice and know that we will be treated like crap for a stupid question. i don't believe in stupid questions. what i do believe in are stupid mistakes people make and that's what makes me tick. no, i'm not a control freak. i see it simply as this: the younger generation knows dick. that's what ticks me off. their ignorance on life. so i will not back off telling others what i think - be it behind the screen or in person. people are ignorant and need to be educated rather than waste their lives on repeated mistakes. that's all i gotta say about thayat.

There are alot of reasons as from what I have seen here, some people post stupid questions, and some people are stupid people posting stupid questions.
I think everyone has the right to an opinion, wethere their opinion is good or bad, and people shouldnt post to the public if they dont want to hear peoples answers or opinions, everyone is different and thinks differently thats what makes the world so unique and beautiful, if we all though and did the same thing it would be boring and I would prefer to be dead, as I would never have a new experience.

If I see someone liek yesterdays questions from that idiot boyfriend who made his girlfriend get 3 abortions, darn right I am going to tell him hes a twot and needs to wear condoms because its the truth, if he catn face hearing the truth, he shouldnt write here.. The poor girl being put through so much because the guy cant wear a condom, I mean seriously.. Some people deserve a good telling off, and I am more than happy to tell them what I think if I think they are in the wrong

Some people have a warped sense of humor and will answer the question with a wise commit thinking they are funny not realize how the person answering the question can be very offended by the answer. Others will answer any way just for the 2 points.

best advise, take the answers that are serious and see if you agree with them or not and make your choice on how to help your situation out with them. Laugh off the other answers, they really don't matter, just someone else opinion or attempt at bad humor.

I think half the time its the questions that are trying to stir up trouble, not the answers. It makes me ill when I see teens make up a question just to get attention. Or if they are really in trouble, why would they come here instead of their parents. Sure they are probably scared, but why ask millions of strangers if they are pregnant?? How the heck are we suppose to know, we are not in their bodies to tell...We can give them advise, but they will do what they want to. The world isn't made up of Rainbows and Sunshine, if people cannot learn to let comments they dont agree with or like, slide off their backs, then they dont need to be asking questions here.

the people posting these kinds of remarks are bigger idiots than the ones posting the dumb questions.
some people arent mentally strong enough to resist being sucked into stupidity.

pregnancy has to be one of the worst areas for stupid answers...people love to post "well you should have thought about that before getting pregnant"
or "you are too young to be having sex, where are your parents?"
or "why didnt you use a protection you wouldnt be in this situation"

well thanks o wise ones, but unless you have a time machine, people need advice on what to do NEXT. Hindsight is 20/20.

and youre right. there is NO POINT. just be happy you are smart enough to rise above...

I understand that you have your standards of behavior, which
is all well and good. I see some of these answers are degrading or demeaning--but we live in an aggressive society.
There are many reasons why people make smart remarks.
Probably the main reason on this site is "because they can".
Its a way of being smart mouth, or showing off, or trying to be
superior. I don't even think about it unless it becomes racial
or very degrading, then I'll report it.

There are a lot of ignorant people out there. They want their two points and don't mind criticizing people.

Personally what is the point? Someone has a question to ask and they're wondering. I can see if they make something really stupid up but it should sound like it was meant to sound, retarded. Example would be like can my daughter get pregnant from a stuffed animal, I saw this and thought to myself that everyone knows that humans or anything else couldn't possibly get pregnant by a toy.

I agree with you, why do people have to be so rude!

I mean I was always told their is never a stupid question only stupid answers and that is where people have to be jerks and give their "2 cents" which ends up a stupid answer and them showing their butts!

Why be rude? Just go on! If you don't like the question move to another one. I mean geez if your an adult act like one!

There are people in this world who think that they can preach as though they have a Bible in hand and a collar round their neck. I choose to ignore smart remarks, much like I choose to ignore questions that appear to be asinine.

People have strong emotions and get irritated when other people seem so ignorant about certian subjects. Sumbiting the reply is also human nature.
