My 20GB ipod broke and I'm considering getting the ipod video. Would I have to get and install a whole different itunes for the ipod video? Would the transferring of songs be a pain?

All itunes are the same. so you can use your old itunes with a new ipod

itunes doesn't care what ipod you have. i have friends who have itunes and don't have ipods.
