I can access Second Life using one of my other computers, but on one of them it tells me I "cannot access second life using this computer."

Your second computer may not meet the minimum system requirements listed below, or when you registered on the site and created your logon id and password, it requested your IP address from the server, and now only associates that IP address with your logon id and password. Many websites (such as banks) use this as a security feature, if that is the case, they ususally require that you register each computer that you use, if that were the case here you should have been prompted to register the second computer.

If the machine is technically capable of running SL, then the problem may be someone using that computer has caused trouble and been blocked from the game.

When installing Second Life, it's possible that the program leaves some unique identification imprint on the machine somewhere. If someone is known for making trouble using that computer, SL may be able to block it. I know other free games on the net use such trickery.

Maybe it knows where you set up your second life profile and only lets you go in on that computer?
