Hi, I found this weird looking bug on a trail today. Can anyone tell what it is? Here's a picture:

I can't really tell but it looks to me a lot like a wind scorpion (also sometimes called a false vinegaroon or false vinegarone). Compare yours with the photos at the links below.

Looks very much like a large spider of some sort. Hard to say what it might be without knowing where the photo was taken. Very cool-looking, though!

I can only make out 6 legs so that would rule out spiders.

looks like a sun spider or wolf spider kinda like a mole cricket gives a nasty bite......
