And Nancy Drew should be in her nineties. The Hardy Boys belong in a nursing home. Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield of Sweet Valley High should be in their late 30's early 40's at this point-those twins went through several Christmases and Summers all without growing past the age of 16. Amazing!. But there are different rules for fictional characters.

Nah -

3 things:

They're turtles - they live like 300 years. so 30-40 would still be a teenager in our terms.

The goo made them not only large, but permanent teenagers ( think Dick Clark)

or their favorite swimming hole in the sewer is a fountain of youth! Man - was Ponce ever looking in the wrong place!

Interesting news article the other day was that they were going to replace the voices for the TMNT's with Star Actors instead of the original voice actors. Luckily the Orignal voice actors aren't money grubbers...so they got to remain, more cost effective for the Producing company.

Speaking of those guys, I've always wondered about them. I mean, in the first place, they're the only four six-foot turtles in town, everyone knows who they are, so why did they wear masks?
