Before, when you ovulate is when you want to try.

Women are most fertile during days 12 to 14 of her menstrual cycle. Have sex every other day during your fertile moments and that means, you're booked for Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

The best time to conceive will depend on when you actually ovulate. Whether you find out when ovulation occurs by charting or by ovulation predictor kits (I recommend charting or a combination of the two), it's important to time intercourse so that the sperm will be there, ready to fertilize the egg. It is rare that the egg will actually become fertilized from having intercourse the day after it has been released. By the time sperm actually reach the egg, it is quite possibly the egg is already dying. You have a better chance for pregnancy if you have intercourse right before, and the day of, ovulation.

With all this in mind, how often you should actually have intercourse depends upon a few things. If your partner has a normal sperm count, then having intercourse every day wouldn't hurt. If he has a low sperm count, you may want to try the every other day approach. At the very least, if you know when ovulation should occur, have intercourse starting 3 days prior to ovulation until 1 to 3 days after. This will insure that there are sperm present when the egg is released.

Well, I have 4 kids, so I would consider myself proficient in getting pregnant! About 2 weeks before your period you will ovulate. That is the best time to get pregnant. There are about 2-3 days when you are fertile.

The best time for the majority of people is 12-16 days after the first day of your period.
If you have been trying during this time for quite a while, you may want to get an ovulation kit at your local drugstore. Some women ovulate as late as 20 days after the first day of your period.

Before period

I have a normal 28day cycle and still got pregnant on 2 seperate occasions that was'nt followed by the "golden rules". It wasnt 14 days after day 1 of my cycle, it was only 2 days after, and another time was actually 2 days before my cycle began. The "golden rule" of ovulating on only certain days doesnt apply to everyone! I'm living proof. If you've been trying with no success, I recommend just having intercourse every 2 to 3 days of the month. Your bound to find your fertile day that way.

Good luck!

It happens before you period and why dont you wanna know without test? It sounds like your young and trying to hide it from your parents you need to concentrate on school instead of trying to have a baby that you cant support.

14 days after the 1st day of your last period (or about 14 days before the next one since the cycle is generally 28 days)

well ovulation occurs after you have a period. once your period ends you will have two days in which your egg is fertile adn alive... no one knows what days those are except if you buy an ovualtion kit but your best bet is to have lots of sex for 14 days right after your period. good luck if you are trying and i hope it happens, problem free and ends succesfully!!!
