I don't think I can- good question! Many eastern philosophies believe that everything is an illusion but this can't be proved, yet. I believe time is an illusion, that everything is happening all at once but time is a way our brains can perceive reality. I can't prove this concept, either. It's still fun to think about.

You cannot disprove anything. The most you can hope for is to prove that something is highly unlikely.
You can never prove or disprove a subjective term like "reality", it's like nailing Jello to a tree.

Reality is entirely subjective. It depends on who you are, what you believe, what books you read, etc. My reality is totally different than anyone else's. Thus, it can neither be proved nor disproved.

That's like proving that sounds do not really exist by explaining it to somebody over the phone. The problem is that we communicate in a medium of 'reality,' so to prove it doesn't exist, we would first have to find an alternative medium of effective communication.

You can show that it is:
* subjective
* limited to human perception (which is limited)
* limited by the human brain's ability to reason (which is limited)
And things like that.
