Each year the pageant committee selects a very diverse group of judges and Vince got picked.
The list of judges to chose from was huge. They must have really thought a lot of him to select him.

Vince Young is an excellent QB. The Miss America pagent ratings are atrocious! They need the ratings! I'm still not watching.
