Actually, it is now illegal to eat dogs in Korea, but it is still done. There is a particular dog that they eat and I have driven by places with cages of them. I had a friend get invited to a place that served dog by a Korean friend. She went, but she couldn't bring herself to eat any of it. When I walk my dog here in Korea, I have seen a few Koreans almost panic and run away in fright. He is a little cocker spaniel and the friendliest dog you'd ever want to meet, so I could never understand it especially since a lot of Koreans own dogs as pets these days. However, someone told me that those are Korean who eat dogs and they are worried that dogs will be able to smell it on them and attack them. I don't know how true that it, but it kind of makes sense to me.

I don't know, but I hope it's none. There are plenty of other animals that can be eaten. If you're hungry, why not eat a cow? Maybe a pig, a chichen, or a deer? If you're a cannible, why not eat your neighbor? We're all cannibles, if we eat meat, but do you want to eat a dog or cat? They are our pets, a part of our families, would you eat another family member????
