I went to New York last summer, and I am a 13 year old girl! We didnt really get to stay long becuase of a REALLY long story. But I would recommend looking on the Internet. Because i liked all the shops on 5th Avenue, but they weren't really basketball clothes, so I would look online.

Some good stores to visit are Macy's on 34th street, H&M, Modells for sporting goods, the Sports Authority,and Dr. Jay's for jeans and sporting goods. Have fun and enjoy the trip!

go to planet hollywood and espn since you like sports . i dont know where you coming from but clothing stores depends what you wear. here in new york there is a lil bit of everything. you can go to quicksilver, gap, old navy... or hot topic

F.A.O. Schwartz toys, its like the best toy store in the world.

ESPN store at Time Square...........go to China Town to Canal St. and you can get sports caps for about $2
