The answer to this question dates back about 3000 years BC. Back in ancient Myan civilization, homes were made of sticks and mud. These homes were called "Boolsez." The literal translation of Boolse (the singular form of boolsez) is The Product of Building. As the english language expanded they obtained more and more roots, although few came from Myan roots. They took the word Boolse and made it Building, a word which originated in meaning as a structure long before it meant the process in which a structure is completed. As time went on, this word also became adapted to mean the process.
