Could I put it past this administration to allow something like this to happen in order to boost the economy, fatten a few people's pockets and introduce new laws and procedures? Yes, I do think they would do something like this.

I like to think of myself as an open-minded person. I've watched the movie "Loose Change", heard the official story and heard the theories. If a person were to watch "Loose Change" and other movies, then you could see how things just didn't quite fit right. Whenever something was presented, it left you with more questions. I just don't believe the government on this one.

I don't consider myself a conspiracy theorist or some kind of "kook", but it's hard to believe the facts that the government is presenting. There was a reason it was televised. They wanted you to look one way and not see the real truth. Anyone who speaks out against the supposed facts are considered crazy, insane, anarchists, kooks, nut jobs, or "Un-Patriotic".

I don't put it past our government to try sneaky things. It's happened before in the past. I'm not even going to mention JFK or his brother. Our government's history is not squeaky clean. People need to pay more attention to history. That is where the facts lay. I just ask people to open their minds up and watch the movie. It doens't mean you're "Un-patriotic".

I do think it odd when I go to other countries. (I travel quite frequently because of work.) Other countries view 9/11 as a self-inflicted wound. They believe that the government allowed this to happen. Makes you wonder how so many people see this, but some Americans just won't look at the other side open their mind. Very interesting.. No one wants to be seen as non-conforming.

Wow, the trash the floats around our young people today. It's really sad that alot of you are so easily fooled by the mindless ramblings of some idioit. You'll believe a video seen on the internet as gospel truth because it justifies your hatred for the President, or America. In respect to your question, my answer is no. I watched as the horrors of 911 unfolded, There is no way that any sane person would believe it to be so. I'm a little surprized that in todays PC society that you would even risk offending the Islamics that tried so hard for so many years to do something here. You , who follow this dribble, will take thier credability away, and they'll have to come up with something even better to prove themselves capable of such murderous deeds. But, by the time they can actually do it, we'll have a Democrat President.... Then who will you blame it on?

After watching the whole thing unfold on the news, and everything that unfolded after that day, i ask myself that same question....expecially on how the towers fell...im sorry but a plane cannot bring down a skyscraper to the foundation....especially skyscrapers specifically designed to withstand such a blow....they were modeled after the occurance of a plane crash that happened in new york in the empire state building i believe..it was a B-25 Bomber.....check this website out to find out more information on the crash.....http://history1900s.about.com/od/1940s/a/empirecrash.htm

if that couldnt bring down that building....which wasnt designed for such a blow....then how did these jets bring down these buildings..???? Im saying it was demilitions set up within the building....which explains how neatly they fell.
and adding to this another building fell also besides the twin towers that really wasnt discussed all that much at all, why?

and when i was reading through some of these other peoples answers to your question, yes no military was even in sight....norad did nothing....it is like they sat back and watched the whole damn thing...
and these people that took the planes....they were only armed with box cutter knives....the passangers couldnt do anything???
and the metal from the buildings were not examined, they were just sold to scrap yards....

Why was President Bush not immediately evacuated from the Sarasota school, but rather was permitted to remain in the building after the second building was hit and this nation was under attack? Why was protocol not followed? Was President Bush deemed to be in the "zone of danger"? If so, at exactly, what time was he put in the "zone of danger"?

These thoughts led me to believe that something was very shady with it all.

But, what can you say or do?

I am a so called " Liberal Democrat"......

I've heard some interesting, some crazy, and some just plain weird conspiracy theories before but....

lately I've keep hearing this conspiracy theory about President Bush that he was behind the 9/11 attacks
so that he would have an excuse to invade Afganistan.

So my question is.... does anyone actually believe this C+ college student, who has difficulty pronouncing
every 5th word, somehow engineered the crime of the century, and in addition to that got at least 10-20
other like minded conservative religious republicans people to go along with it , killing 3,000+ Americans,
cost his own country hundreds of Billions, all so he would have an excuse to invade a country that has
absolutely nothing (not even oil), but dirt and a bunch of poor muslims? (Afganistan) .
And in addition to above, he did it so well that no evidence exists, just a bunch of conspiracy therories.

Now really, does this make any sense what-so-ever?

I keep asking conspiracy theorists this question, but NONE has bothered to answer.
What makes *you* think you're immune from the govt? Certainly a govt who would slaughter
3000 people just for showing up at work one day would NOT hesitiate to kill anyone who tried to
speak out against it.....YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS!

I do not want to believe that our government could do such a thing, but after some open minded research I don't believe that it is totally impossible. What concerns me is the consistent lies that are coming out of the white house even today. There are lots of unanswered questions: why did NORAD stand down more than two hours? why was FEMA having a training exercise in NY involving accidental plane crashes into skyscrapers? How did the buildings fall so perfectly after only burning a few hours?
I think that someone should look into these things a little closer. I do not feel that I am being unpatriotic. When our founding fathers questioned the control of England over us we had the revolutionary war.....Do people consider them to be conspirators as well?
Democracy is supposed to be the freedom to question the motives of government......not to blindly agree with propaganda of any sort.

I have yet to see any CONVINCING evidence of this. Furthermore, how exactly did the government gain from the attacks? Any advantages the government might have gained in terms of pushing certain policies along could have been derived from a MUCH, MUCH smaller plot. Even one plane would have done the trick!

Oh and about those U-Tube BBC tapes. Did it ever occur to anyone that on a VERY confusing day they got their buildings confused? It's not like the BBC reporters were experts in the WTC design. Hell, I've been there and I couldn't have told you which building was WTC 7 and which wasn't etc.

possibly, to unify the nation, to get bush votes. anything is possible. look at what machiavelli said. the end justifies the mean. and america about 30 yrs ago involving fidel castro i think. the US made something up and later people found out it was false. many people dont know about this but the point is the US government made something up. and this was 30 years ago. imagine wat they would do now

i mean theres a lot of proof with conflicting reports about the pentagon (video was never shown), building falling cuz of fire (even though they never have) and the "terrorists" being alive. theres a lot of sites if u want more info. whatreallyhappened.com i think is one.

the newest video had BBC talking about world trade center 7 i think. the small one. and they knew that claimed it went down when in reality (IN THE VIDEO) you could see it was still there.

I'm Canadian. And like many socially conscious Canadians (and American's for that matter) I'm not a fan of the American government.

However, even I wouldn't accuse the U.S. Gov. of something so horrendous. Do I think they crastly took 9-11 as an excuse to do some things that they probably shouldn't have messed with, heck yes. But to believe that they would MURDER that many people in such a fashion, you might as well just believe that Satan himself and all the hosts of Hell are running the country.

Offutt Air Force Base is just south of Omaha Nebraska {center of USA} A week before 9/11 F-14 fighter jets and one of the Airforce One jets.{the one the prez flys in} was flying the fastest and the lowest ever seen. I seen the 2nd jet hit the tower on TV.15 minutes later all of the missle doors was opened at Ouffitt!{our biggest nukes}20 minutes later Air force one lands at Offutt{and i think the prez was to have been in Florida? 20 minute flight hmmmm} You my friend have asked a question that may never be answered.But! I hope i have let a few realise on how close the world was for the USA to push the Big RED Button!! My Yahoo attorornies have told me to plead the 5th and to shut my mouth! Yes Possibly!! I think Cheney is behind this, why didn't they shoot down the 2nd plane before it hit the tower. The government called off the Norads. It really scares me and I cant wait for Bush and Cheney and Halirbuton ( now Incorporated in Saudi Arabia ) to be gone.
