first call his parents or someone who cares and let them know
then go to him and be there for him, try to talk sense into him...
Tell him that people who care about him don't want him kill himself...
And tell him that killing himself is taking the easy way out and if he does it he won't just be being a coward but he'll be hurting EVEYONE who cares about him
