How about Kostaninos! It is Greek We called him Gus. Also I think some of the newer American names so to speak are getting out of hand. I had a little girl in a class and her name was Beautiful. Sounds pretty but just not a name. It's a description. Her middle name Morning. no kidding. I may be out of touch but that just isn't a name you pin on a child. To each his own I guess. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.

names are an issue of fashion anyway. two generations ago we still had names like : Gottlieb (means "dear to God") and Sieglinde (the victorious lime tree) in German. And now people would think the mothers revenge for the labour pains if they give their kids names like that.
Btw. in Arabic names like "Beautiful" and "Light" are just normal, so why not go on with the development of names and anglicise or americanize this? Hey, aren't you the melting pot over there?
But to add something strange from my own experience- and now you may judge - in former East Germany there were a few real believers in the system who namend their daughters "Sozialistine."
Go figure.

Princess
Queenie

Stormy Weather
No joke - Someone in one of my classes had a girl named Clitoris (nicknamed Clitty); when the mother was asked how she chose that name she said she heard it while she was in the hospital and liked it.
There was a kid in our school whose first name was WillSmith. He also had a middle name and last name.
I also heard about one family who had kids named Zoranly, Zornelly, Zoe and Zornes.
We had one whose first name and last name were both Anthony. Anthony Anthony.
Then we also had twins whose names were reversed. Christopher Michael and Michael Christopher.
Looking at names and what they mean are really interesting.

Well, I'm not anything of the things you said, but I know some kids at my school with pretty weird names. There's Ruta Ziukate, Jerrebelle Yutango, Alejandro Gonzalez, a boy named Angel.... And of course, Montana.
I dunno, I always thought those were weird names.

At the place I use to work, we had to go by the name on their birth certificate. One man's name was Sunshine, another was Orangejello. No it wasn't pronounced that way but that was how it was spelled. I thought those were pretty strange.

I think that biggest issue is how parents spell their kids' names! I had a little girl in class who spelled her name Maddalyne. Why couldn't her parents have spelled it so that others could also spell it easily?
A few others ...
Excitement (went by Exie)
Destiny
Gorgeous (went by Gi-Gi)
Summer-Sky
Wad (yes, ... pronounced as it sounds!)
Ti-Ti
Bitsy (it was written that way on her birth certificate!)
Birch
Pitch
Digger
