Okay I have this blue and white question mark in my lower right corner with all my icons, its taking me to this site http://www.spylocked.com/index.php This thing is called System Alert, its installed in my add and delete programs and will not let me delete it off of there, and it will not tell me why or give me the site information. I can not figure out how to get this off of my computer. I am running AVG right now, but so far has not found it yet....Any other options before throwing it out my window?

Hi,
I know this one its a *****. download avast antivirus from http://www.shannonsidecomputers.com/tools.htm its safe to have both AVG and Avast working together infact the work great together for a scan.Scan with avg and avast will work in the backround picking up anything AVG misses also get adaware and spybot from the same site and scan with them. if it still finds nothing boot in to safe mode and scan all again. one of my customer had this 2 weeks ago and i know it a botch.

oh ya dont forget to remove avast when your done it will slow down your machine

best of luck with it hope it works out for u

How To Remove Spylocked (removal Instructions)
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic85376.html

then

1) If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot http://spywarekiller.hyperboards.com/index.php?action=view_topic&topic_id=4 do that now .Update it (Latest updates 21-3-2007) and then run it so it gets rid of all the spyware and trojans in safe mode

1b) Run AVG Anti-Spyware Free

Run Secunia Software Inspector http://securitynewsfromthenet.blogspot.com/ .Securina will tell you which of your software is outdated and have holes in them through which the spyware/virus are entering.

I would go to Trend Micros site and run House Call...it is free and has removed EVERY problematic virus from my computer to date. Also...try to manually remove this spylocked program. Enter the name into your search area on Your Computer and right click ...delete etc

Hope this helps.

yeah so a disk cleanup, avg, or trend micro is probably not going to remove this bad boy, they might detect it but will be unable to remove it becase spylocked is part of a trojan family called zlob that uses a new method of infection and places random reinstall files throught the computer...to remove this bad boy try the link below and follow the on screen instructions
