there are popups on some of them. i've used them for 2 years and nothing bad has happened yet. but make sure you scan the downloaded files before you open them!!
i downloaded kazaa once, and it completely flooded my computer with spyware after i installed the program.

Well the files from wither can contain viruses, but torrents with rubbish files usually get "buried" or inactive. In limewire just downloading .mp3 is very unlikely to be harmful

ive found when downloading on limewire u get viruses, i use a torrent site now called ares ultra i find it very safe and its very fast downloading stuff

No bootleger, thats the safest way to illegally download music.
