he sucks
he gives the puck away, he can't hit, he can't do anything except give the puck away. does anyone else think the devs should get rid of him and open up some cap space fro clarkson, or trade him for a better player?

Nah he's 38 and it's probably his last season. let him get in one last hurrah for his hometown team, besides season's almost over anyway. BTW screw the Leafs, they ain't gonna win the cup again this year anyway.

i hate hate devils, but to answer your question, he hasnt done so much for the devils. with the cap trouble the devils have had, getting rid of him to make room for a young player couldnt hurt. i dnt know about his contract status, but if he aint a free agent i dnt think he will be in high demand in trade value

sure. anything. dowd was never really good. of course he's made the occasional good pass..but he is no help for the devils. I think trading him for anyone else would be a good idea.
