Loving someone means you love the person as a person like loving someone just because they are human. When you are in love with someone there are alot of emotions and feelings involved and you want to spend the rest of your life with them. Your heart beats faster when they are near and you fall in love with them and want to be with them as much as you possibly can and you usually cannot stop thinking about them.

Being in love with someone feels as though you're just totally taken with him or her. They're wonderful and you want to learn everything about them. When you love someone, it's usually permanent on some level. You are committed depsite everything you know about him or her and especially the stuff you wish you didn't. In short, I would say being in love is a feeling and loving someone is an action.

Jane,
If you would have asked me this a couple years ago... I would have laughed. Now, I can honestly say that loving someone means that you do sincerely care about them, their feelings, and their well being. You don't want to be the cause of any hurt or dissapointment to them.

Being in love with someone... means that you would do anything.... anything to take away the hurt and dissapointment caused by someone else. Not being able to see yourself without them in your life. Most of all, even when she is the one that cause you hurt... you can somehow forgive her.

I can answer this with ease, but I can also say... being in love with someone doesn't mean they are "in love" with you... maybe they just love you???

loving someone is a physical action and it's usually tiring, but being in love is a mental state of mind, how you decide the kind of feeling you have towards that person.

No details needed. You love somebody when it no longer matters if you are in love with them because you love them.
