A gentleman i know was fired because he got hurt at work and needs surgery and they said he had a bad atitude,after working there over three years.Oklahoma state people says he doesn't have a leg to stand on.What makes it worse he rents from said employer

The AARP is a private organization who essentially is speaks on behalf of people over 50 to Comgress. They watch the bills, and weigh in on some. Of course they do other things!

That is one of the things I dislike about business. What happened to your friend happens thousands of time every day across this country. They don't mind using them for labor but they will throw them away like yesterdays news.

The other is common as well, a bad attitude or any reason to fire someone so they can't collect unemployment.

Your friend should get a lawyer as his treatment should be paid for!
