IGNORE THOSE OTHER PEOPLE!!!
From first hand experience with the Nitro, from the inside it seems like a bigger version of the Laredo, and from the sound of the radio, its just has the WOW effect(cant explain it). And the handling, it handles like a car half its size, and the giddyupness, is really good!. And the outside is VERY unique, and different. You will stand out in this thing, and you will love it at the same time. On a scale from 1-10 i'll give it a 8 1/2. Nothings perfect so you'll like it too.

I personally don't own one but I like the "boxy" look anyway of automobiles that are designed that way.
Nitro looks cool, but Dodge isn't exactly best in quality. I'd definitely take a trip to your local book store and pick up some auto review magazines and compare the ratings before walking on a Dodge lot.

the dodge nitro is a very nice car.. in certain aspects.
its pretty much perfect in the r/t version. i mean a 4.0 litre v6. its gonna be pretty quick. and you can get that with 4wheel drive. and version comes with 4 wheel drive, but the other versions only have about a 3.7 litre which puts out 210hp. you'll wanna go with the beefier one. plus the compartments that it has, the "mygig" thing that they have i hear is pretty faaareakin sweet. its a good choice overall. i would also look at the caliber too. or the escape or mariner. theyre all good

You have your gives and your takes and it all matters what you think. Asking this is a subjective question and has no straightforward answer. My opinion is that I think they are neat little vehicles, but they do give poor fuel economy and the styling is just ok in my books. I have a friend who wouldn't trade hers for anything in the world right now. It depends what you are using the vehicle for and if it fits your needs. I wish you luck because you have fans and haters.
