Sometimes you don't think of a friend or family members name as unusual until you say it to someone else and they pull a face or ask about it.
I have friends who are twins called Laine (Laynee) and Cicily (Sissilly) and never thought anything of it, but I guess they are quite unique. What about you?

well my aunts name is odilia [oh-deal-ee-uh] and my other aunts name is qulmina [cul-mean-uh] and actually my family is from portugal. I think their name is very creative. I really dont like common names so hearing an uncommon name is very interesting. Some sound beautiful and some sound unique. i also have an uncommon name and its marellia [[mar-eel-ee-uh]]. and i love it

My cousin's name is Fauzia. It was weird at first to me, but now I'm used to it and whenever I say her name people are like woah!! And i forget that it's not normall..lol :]

Well Mara is pretty uncommon i guess. New teachers always pronounce it wrong...plus my cousin's name is Latisha, I'd never even heard that before she was named that...
