If a computer has two rives, C: and D; but D: is named HP_RECOVERY, is there a way i can copy this to a Cd so when i need to recover another computer i can use it? if nto is there a way i can make my own computer have a d: with a RECOVERY on it?

there are programs out there which will allow you to back up your whole computer - but there is no way you will be able to put this on a cd. plus if i am not mistaken the windows recovery tool is not making an actual copy of your hard drive it is just storing code to tell the computer the settings at a specific time - you wont be able to put these settings on a different computer.
