I know this is frustrating but I recommend that you wait another 3 days before buying a pregnancy test. When you start getting frustrated & stressed this can cause your cycle to be even more late. I don't know how long you have been having your cycle & you maybe trying to get pregnant but this is one thing my doctor told me.
Normally you ovulate 14 days after your period starts so that would be the first day of your period, which therefore calculates the 28 day cycle count. Anyways, the month of February can make things a little off due to being a short month, that is why I suggest waiting 3 more days to test again. That would put you at 18 days past ovulation & if you haven't started your cycle then your chances are higher of being pregnant. You had no answers when I clicked on answer this question but I am slow at getting my thoughts together so I don't know which answer I will be. I also know of a website you can go to to check out.

There could be a bunch of factors. If you are overly stressed, this could make you late. Plus you now might be stressing about your missed period. If you were sexually active right before, during, and right after ovulation...take the test again. If it still says negative, I would recommend seeing your doctor. Just for piece of mind.

Best of luck...
