You've already taken the first step! We all have been raised with a few influences that we're not proud of. I would suggest staying honest. If you find yourself in a conflict based on these feelings, just explain how you were raised. Explain that you are trying to undo this damage and ask for help! Don't try to sound pitiful, just be honest. Keep talking and thinking about it, because even though you have hate in your heart, you also have the choice to lead your life in a more enlightened way. And since you recognize that already, it will probably not be long before you can let go of that hate.

If you say it was becasue of your dad, you need to ask yourself, other than what you dad infaltrated in you, what other reason would you have to hate black people? If a black person has ever done you wrong or anyone else, do you think it is because of the color? Do you think color/race really plays a role on how people behave? Because the same things black people do, whether good or bad, white people do it, chinese, spanish, etc.
As to how to rehabilitate, well, I think you should have black friends and see how you relate to black people as people, and you will notice that they are not bad and they hurt just like you do and they laugh just like you do.

Take the time to spend time with people from different races. You'll find that in every race there are good and bad. It's not the color that makes it like that. Maybe you need to check into the reason you feel like this, it may help resolve the issues you are having. You know Christ loves us all the same regardless of our color. If he can love us why can't we love each other. If you find reason for hating, forgive so that you may be forgiven.

I wish I could give you a nice warm hug because that's all you ever needed. You can't help the way you were raised and it's not your fault. I know living with hate can hender your life and just make you all sick inside...You want to be at peace, don't you ?
Well you're taking the 1st step and I commend you for that.
I will have you in my prayers so that you can heal yourself because we are All not so bad...
God Bless..

Well first you have taken the first step , good for you !!!, It wont be easy to unravel many years of brain washing , what you should do is get it in your mind that the color is only just that " COLOR " and nothing else , every one inside of the different color or form is essentially made of the same thing with red blood , they hurt , suffer , love , think , care , laugh , cry , hope , wish , talk , born and die etc. the same as you and I are , and in a free world we all have the same rights to follow our paths . You don't' have to like the person that has hurt you which ever color he is , but accept every one in general because they are just like you .

You need to get to know some black people, form some relationships. You'll realize that the differences are superficial-all people have the same hopes and dreams, fears and wishes for the future. I wish you luck and I commend you in trying to improve :)

First of all..I praise your honesty.
You are starting to realize that black people are no worse than anybody else..
The only difference between black people and white people is the melanin dosage...That's it! There are some black people that would give their right arm to save a persons life.
We all need each other in some type of way.
We are really all siblings and Love is what we all have on the inside..

watch the chappelle show, only dave is allowed to use the n word, your father raised you to hate, he didnt do it to cause you harm, he just had a mistrust of the black people for reasons we will never know, i am in the service and we dont have that kind of problem, i wish the race thing would just go away, but you cant stop people from being ignorant i guess, god watches over all of us, he is not prejudice

Everyone is everyone. People are people. So whenever you try to say the N word, just bite you're tongue and think that they are like you and they don't deserve to be called like that. Try bonding and be friends with Africans.
Oh, and tell your father to stop being against blacks.
