What should I do for science fair??

Question

Im desperate..I have been teamed up with people I cant work with and am trying to look for a good topic so nobody feels its not good. Its a competition and I want to win... I lost all the competitions I wanted to!

for a sixth grader...iliek the magnetism idea its really god thanx alot!

Any ideas for a sixth grade science fair? anyone?

im lookin for a question and answer type of topic...its a competition there has to be like a question and then we have to answer it by demonstrating

My personal favorite is magnetism, it is both amazing and fun, not to mention you can find experimants on a whole scale of levels from iron filing magnetic waves to super cunductors.

Here's something I've made for the respiratory system.You need:
Half a plastic bottle(the part you drink out of)
A Big balloon
Small balloon
half a straw
*possibly a drill
You take the big balloon and put on the open end of the bottle.Then you drill a hole in the cap at the top. You put the small balloon on the straw put it in the hole and you have a model of the respiratory system.
When you pull on the big balloon,the other balloon fills like the diaphram filling the lungs.
It's easier then it sounds.

VOLCANOES WOOT WOOT- baking soda + vinegar

Card tricks... get someone to pick a card.... put the card on top of the deck and look at it very quickly and stealthly... then tell them their card HAHA

Get some soap and put it on the rim of a tube. put a methane filled balloon over the other end. Slowly squeeze the balloon to produce a bubble of methane gas. Hit the bubble with a lighted candle on a large stick and the bubble will make a fireball in mid air... pretty cool but dangerous

Get a 2L bottle of diet pepsi and put mentos into it quickly but fast. You need to put on the cap and then throw it on the ground really fast and hard. It will then shoot into the air. This can also be done with a lot of sodium chloride (salt) and POPROCKS (it explode).
