Alice is basically part of the chorus, but she has a short solo in the song "Telephone Hour"

sweet and innocent on the outside! and totally boy crazy!! Just kidding! Rent the movie and study her character and how she interacts with the others, that should give you a good idea on the way you would like to portray her. If you were cast in her part, the director must have seen some of her qualities in your audition.
