I took AP world history last year and forgot to take the SAT 2. Is it worth re-studying and taking the SAT 2 for it later?

If colleges require the SAT IIs, at most they require 2-3 of them. If you're going into a specific field like engineering where they might ask for the math SAT, I would focus on the requirements (to find out, check with the colleges you're considering).
If there are no requirements, I would go with the subjects you are best at and know the most of because the grades for the SAT IIs are really high. For most of the tests, especially history, low 700s, will get you into 70-75th percentile. You want to make the best impression, so don't try to remember the stuff you learned a year ago, you will only earn yourself a lower score and that will not help you.

By the way, don't worry about one of the earlier answers, colleges do not look at your last SAT. They count the BEST score in each subject from all the times you took them.

Colleges will only look at the LAST SAT that you took so, if you take more than one, do well on the first, and do absolutely horrendous on the last, you could wind up going to community college instead of a UNC or UCLA or Kansas or Kentucky or even a smaller school. "Bet the farm" on one test UNLESS you do poorly on it. Then and ONLY THEN take it a second time - not a third or fourth.

I would not recommend taking TOO many sat 2's, as colleges usually only require 2-3. Only take subjects in which you feel confident in and have had prior classes/knowledge of.

Well i think u can only take 3.. But it's best to take alot. colleges like to look at all the scores but they'll either take the best or find teh average.

I did the full college element final year, plus a job and hard instructions, so I determine i can help you (quite often with what to not do) right here is what i found out: a million- every physique gets into college someplace, and besides the fact that in case you're unlikely to the area you initially needed, it could become the ideal place for you. 2- put in an utility to a school in Canada. they're low-value and a few are extremely reliable (McGill, UToronto, UBC), yet extra importly to your sanity, there is not any essay or recomendation required. the full element takes approximately 15 minutes, and you will do it as previous due as spring. 3- maine is chilly, specific, yet spring and fall are eye-catching, and you will consistently curl up under a blanket with warm chocolate. 4- do not overload on extra curriculars in basic terms to your purposes. i did not do any in any respect, and nonetheless have been given into Columbia and UC Berkeley. 5- permit your mothers and fathers do the annoying for you 6- stay and don't permit college end you from having a real existence. this is going to attempt....

All the colleges I know of take the highest scores you get in each area, so it can't hurt take more. Just don't go overboard with it.
