What do you people think about the song Dear Mr. President by Pink? Do you Agree with her lyrics?

wow....i totally disagree....it's amazing how little we people have in common these days....

i agree with her lyrics and i think it's a great song.....I personally think, that Bush ,as a president, sucks.

Lex, I have to admit, you pose some VERY good questions and i have no explination for any of them or any debates for that matter. nicel done...it's hard to make me speechless. and this you have done. ^_^

I really like this song. I don't totally agree with it, but I like it.

I've been a P!nk fan since the Missundaztood album. And though I disagree with her politics, I still enjoy her music & her right to see things differently.

My questions about this song is: If President Bush was to offer P!nk a chance to take that walk, would she accept it?

If so, would she actually listen to what he said, or would she do the normal "liberal" thing. Ignore everything he says, accuse him of war crimes, call him a liar (about WMDs, which ironically even Hillary admits that everyone, every democrat & republican that agreed to go to war, including George W., was fooled.)

I agree that he's made mistakes, that he's far from the best President that we've elected. But the facts are:

1. We did elect him, twice.

2. Everyone believed the "intelligence" (I use that word lightly) reports that said that Iraq was creating WMDs, including your heroes: John Kerry & Hillary Clinton. The reason this was more important that N. Korea's is becasue Iraq was under U.N. sanctions to cease & desist the making of WMDs. No such sanctions against N. Korea.

3. One of the reasons that the world HATES us is that we continue to start up a revolution in other countries, and rarely do we stick to it. Here's a short list (I may miss some): Vietnam, Korea, C. America (Banana Wars), Iraq (1st time), Afghanistan (1st time).

4. Saddam Hussien was an evil man, he should have been taken from power during Desert Storm. he and his sons, commited terrible attrocities against their own. Slobodan Milosevic was equally evil. We, the world, watched as he tortured, raped, and killed a quarter-million humans. We did nothing to stop him, until it was much too late. In Sierra Leone, the world ignored the attrocities of the RUF and its ruthless leader, Foday Sankoh. They raped and mutilated men, women, and children. And we watched. Today, the members of the RUF walk around as free men. They will never see justice, the U.N. granted them amnesty. Meanwhile, their victims will suffer continually, until their death. Should we always just watch as others die.

5. Bush has never commited any attrocities on the scale of these men. So comparing him to anyone similar, say Hitler, is ignorant.

SAD or ROCK? Okay.. I'm now not definite on that. If via unhappy you imply.... sluggish and style of emo... Evanescence has tons of those, as good as rock, comparable to: Hello Like You My Immortal Your Star Missing All That I'm Living For Sweet Sacrifice Weight of the World Going Under The Veronicas: All I Have Heavily Broken In Another Life Someone Wake Me Up My Chemical Romance has tons of well rock songs, and so does Switchfoot.
