I have had my period for the last 3 months but it has been lighter this month it lasted only a day usually lasts 3 days... I have had unusual cramps today on and off..i have the symptoms of being pregnant all of them...i have took 2 hpt 2 weeks ago both were negative.. i have a child and have had 2 pregnancies so i know the symptoms but as i say the tests were both negative..am due my period the 7th april and i dont get cramps when when iam due on my period so i dont know what this is.. please genuine answers please..thanks.x

If your not due on until 7th April, you could be ovulating. Headaches and normal pms symptoms are also connected with ovulation as well. Unfortunately this makes it hard to determine pregnancy!
Soemetimes the preg hormone can take a while for it rise in some pregnancies.
Try and be patient if you still have not had your period by 7th April, then do another pregnancy test, if that also comes back negative then make appointment to see your doctor.

I have heard of this ecspecially in the first trimaester the cramping would be unusual unless there is blood with it because the common stretching etc is accompanied by a different sort of pain not a cramp it is hard to get medical attention if you have not had a positive pregnancy test and you are not late but listen to you're heart and care for yourself like you are pregnant just incase!! there is still a possibility that you are i had the same symptoms and i had three periods at the beggining of my pregnancy and test were also negative i was 13 weeks 2 days pregnant before i found out i actually was. go see your doctor explain to him/her your symptoms and ask for some more test to be done . i suggest you go asap as i have also read there is some form of cancer that gives all the symptoms of being pregnant even though your not it fools the body into thinking you are.sorry i dont mean to scare you but you really do need to get checked out

It could be pregnancy or a cyst. Either way you need to see a dr. It is verry important to see the dr. Call tomorrow or mon. If the cramping persist and you start bleeding and go through a pad in less than twenty mins go to the er or call dr to see if you can go in there.

Only you know your body, but if you aren't sure, start taking care of yourself as if you were. Just be good to your body and if your pd doesn't come in on time, go see about a professional or more accurate preg. test. Maybe you are making yourself worried. Also, have you been dieting or stressed out lately? Maybe that's why its delayed.

I don't know why people ask their medical questions here instead of with a Dr. You could probably even call him and ask. This is not a casual problem. Put on your big girl panties and call/see your Dr.!

Many things can change your cycle. A big factor is STRESS.
I would trust the "hpt's" if I were you...and I wouldn't worry.
