Everywhere in my body is hurting. My back, my neck and even my stomach when I'm trying to get up. What should I do?

Whenever I used to exercise my muscles used to hurt but I don't even exercise these days.

I'm 18 by the way.

Yesterday was my last day on the Period. So, it's not about that time of the month.

There is alot you can do.... are you eating healthy? Do you exercise at all? Do you drink plenty of water? Supplement you diet with miltivitamins? Getting enough sleep? I feel that alot of aches and pains reflect how we eat and live our day to day life. I am by no means in prime shape or a health nut, but I have noticed in myself that when I avoid certain foods I feel much better. You don't have to excercise yourself to death, but a daily walk or bike ride would be beneficial. You can always see a doctor, but I personally don't like to be on alot of medication and anymore that is all a doctor does these days is describe medications. I always try to take care of whatever ails me naturally before seeing a doc, unless it is something serious.

Don't ask why I am in women's health, I jump around all over the place. Really I just got kicked out of the other topic.

I really like April's answer and she gets my thumbs up. I am against meds in most cases as well. But I want to suggest that you get a Lyme's disease test, so far as I know the only way to cure it is Hardcore regimen of antibiotics. If you do get diagnosed with it, try to find someone who specializes in Lyme's in your area. Regular docs will treat it but are often not aggressive enough.

Good luck and I hope you feel better, you are too young to get old. I'm 30 and have been feeling ill for a few yrs now, docs are no help so I am trying cleanses and dietary changes (ok, I lie, I eat horribly).

P.S. If you are interested in "wellness" and like to research and read online then go to http://askwaltstollmd.com/index.html It's a really great site.

Get a physical by your doctor - including blood work. That's the only way to find out if anything is wrong.
