He should be kicked the hell out of the Democratic Party and also not be allowed to call himself an Independant. He's only for Israel and not the USA!!

I can't help but feel your question is somewhat rhetorical in nature, but as a conservative and a Christian, I admire Lieberman. Maybe you're right about his needing to be kicked out of the Democratic Party.

Senator Lieberman is a Great Statesman and I admire him.

I respect the hell out of Lieberman. He took an unpopular (and nearly politically suicidal) stance on the strength of his convictions.

If you look at his voting record, he rates very high on the liberal-o-meter. But the left -- cannibalizing its own -- threw him to the wolves on the basis of his divergence on one issue.

His willingness to subject himself to that rather than selling out his values and taking the path of least resistance is more than worthy of respect.
