Illegal.

They changed the rules to make it legal. He does not bowl within the legitimacy of the rules, injury or not I still think its illegal.

I'M with bru above me on this one, they changed the rules from 11 deg of arm bending to 14 deg to accommodate murali, and the reason they did this was because the icc had let him play so long and he had already taken so many wickets that they had no choice because basically it was their fault for not picking up on his action when he first started-so they changed the rules.

in my opinion murali is still a chucker and there will always be controversy when it comes to his action

Looks like it has become the habit of Idians.
when they cannot beat. They try to bite. This is whay Indians are so famous they just cannot face the defeat.

Murali is a world class bowler. He is part Sri Lanka part India.
there is nothing wrong with his action. Players that cannot face him will try to cut his neck. But you have to face the truth. The truth ithat Indians are dead scared of Murali. You have blame your own team for the defeat against the champions.

Yes, He chucks! And most of the umpires are scared to

report him because his country's people cry "racism!"

When his bowling action is being tested, he bowls legally,

then, when he is on the field he bends his arm when

delivering his droosers.

It is upto the Umpires to decide. He was reported on couple of occasions earlier and every time he was cleared.
