Don't try to act "cool," because I've seen that done a lot of times at my school and you'll look like a total retard. Just shop at Nordstrom BP (the junior section), where they have a lot of cute clothes, and places like Forever 21, Abercrombie, etc. (If you don't want to pay $40 for a shirt at Abercrombie, go to Forever 21. They're cheap.) And get a pair of skinny jeans. They're really flattering unless you weigh 3 ton. A little black mascara and gold or pink cream eyeshadow (two shades that compliment all skin colors), some ChapStick or clear lip gloss, and blow-drying your hair would help.

And also, if you're loud in class, don't be. That doesn't mean don't raise your hand. It means don't try to flirt with guys because most times, you'll look like a total freakazoid if they don't like you. And don't crack jokes ... that's reserved for people who were born to crack jokes. Just keep quiet and low for a month or so and you'll be fine!

Hope I helped.... Good luck!

I think people pick out the people they want to pick on. They'll probably move on to someone different when they get tired of you. People are cruel, and it sucks that you're the one being picked on.
Dress normally, not totally different than you normally would. Talk to different people, smile, be confident...they're probably as scared of you as you are of them. Smiling is contageous, so spread the disease! lol.Treat other people as you would want to be treated...if you wouldn't want someone doing something to you, don't do it to them. Like if the people who are making fun of you now all of a sudden accept you, make sure you don't end up in their nit-picking games. You'll wind up to be the one hurt. I'm sure that not everyone agrees with what they're doing.
Be confident. Confidence wins people over.
Honestly is the best policy no matter what...if you're honest and tell the truth, your word and your reputation will be more valued. It's a long process but it works.

Just be nice to ppl. Try talking in class more, but don't be a "know-it-all." Wearing a band t-shirt or maybe even something from a store like A&F or Hollister can help start a conversation. Get involved in sports and clubs. And most importantly, be yourself! Don't hang out with the "Mean Girls" just to get noticed. Good luck! ;)

Ahhh!!! that's hard! I would start by dressing just regular (which you may already) and that stinks that you get treated poorly. I just would not try to be anything but yourself, because when you try to act cool, you just look more like a freak. Act yourself, don't try to impress the super popular people, because it won't help. Good luck! and i knwo that's difficult, but keep trying!

Buy some cute clothes, smile a lot and be nice to people no matter how bad they treat you, and wear makeup.
