Look at the majority of white America who say they aren't racist, but still judge people as a whole rather than individually.
They will say "not all black people are like that." Then they contradict themselves by saying "people in the ghetto are" or "poor blacks are... people who speak slang are... people who talk about injustices are... people who are out of work are... people who hustle are..." They refrain from saying blacks are, but they are still as prejudice as ever. If you don't fit their model of a person, you are thrown into a category.
I do believe that they don't someone per se, because of their skin, but they will judge and label without thought because of it. When you point out whites who do the same thing, it is that person at fault. When a certain blacks do something, everyone who resembles them are condemned.

Yes, it's possible. In fact, I recently discovered that I am slightly racist and not very tolerable of middle eastern culture (like Iraq, Pakistan, India, etc.) It's just that after 9/11, and with the war going on, I don't feel comfortable around them, no offense to anyone.

Yes, I am Perth born and bred and I believe this assertion to a factor. There is racism right here however it is the equal for different citys. I lived in Melbourne for 4 years and noticed a couple of Neo Nazis which surprised me. And being an Indigenous Australian, I listen and spot plenty of it. My favorite is the "I'm no longer racist however" and it continuously finish with, "But you are one of the crucial well Aboriginals". It drives me up the freaking wall! Some individuals on this nation have a tendency to fail to remember their loved ones origins. I'm sorry I don't have anything to present as opposed to information.

No. You are in full control of your mind and fully aware that you are a racist. So what! Claim it! You are not the first. The thing is... if you claim it... you need to stand on it. I am not a racist but I am prejudiced against certain situations and people. It's just that their views are so skewed and their opinions are so narrow that I really can't stand them.

Yes. Its possible. Whenever you assume something about somebody based on their outward appearance or culture you are closing your mind. Use your perceptions but not your judgments. You will get a lot more out of life that way.
