every youth wants to play football, what happens to our education. After the game the end up as manegers, scouts or models/showbiz.

because there are greedy people in the world and want to enrich themselves vastly...
americans do not pay attention but when they realised that football has a global appeal as opposed to mainly-North American sports such as american football, baseball, basketball and hockey, they realised HOW much they have been missing...
also, there are no salary caps in europe at the moment and so a lot of players have their eyes in the leagues in europe as they can potentially have huge payouts... again in the US, the major sports have salary caps which, imho, is a good way to level the playing field and prevent smaller clubs from getting bust...

I do agree that players are getting paid ridiculous amounts. L.A. just bought Beckham for $1 million a week. Are you for real?
Also because soccer is the MOST popular sport EVERYWHERE except U.S. and Canada, it's something that can attract audiences without a problem, so they can charge the fans as much as they want.

It ( and it's FOOTBALL, not soccer) has always been, just like any other pro sport, just that it is the most popular of the lot, because you are obviously American, why don't you querry the same about baseball, basketball, hockey and your version of football.

the players deserve getting paid millions n millions. why? ill tell you at least they are doing something good with it and they are earning it also not like these music artists who think they are the best when they only make one good hit!!!! anyone who disagrees with football players getting paid alot should stop hating on them. just think if you were on their place you know sure as hell you wouldnt be complainting lolx10.

where do you get the becoming a money making thing it is a money making machine. The players get paid far too much, its obscene!!
