i have watched this anime and it is good but not that very goooooood...i always see Naruto but it is always the top 17...very far.
Full Metal Alchemist makes me sleep. It is very boring and it always attempt to make me cry but i won't. Why? This anime is so sentimental. When i see their fights, it is so boring and has many blubbery mouths talking. Why??? Why is it...??

Well, whether an anime is good or not is pretty much up to an individual, and is based on opinion.
But either way, why Full Metal Alchemist is usually considered a top anime has a few reasons.
The story line was pretty good, and original, it was something a little different to watch at the time it was released and considered by many to be appealing, as it had a mix of drama, action and comedy and had a solid storyline and complex story and characters, that appeals to many people.
Also can't forget that it was produced and created by studio BONES, which is a pretty prominent animation studio. Much of it's anime is pretty popular and just naming the animation studio, makes people want to try out it's anime.
Probably other then that, the anime easily appealed to a large demographic, which of course, the more people you appeal to the more it's popular. Unlike ones like Naruto that focuses on young boys , since it's a shounen jump based anime, FMA was created for a more broader audience, and appealed more to younger and older audiences more then Naruto.
Not to mention most anime that appears on American television usually becomes pretty popular. It's only a matter of time before Naruto's popularity gets just as popular.

You're right, for me it is only good. There are anime I can watch 3 or 4 times without getting bored ( Slayers, Full Metal Panic, Kiddy Grade, Evangelion ) but FMP I just can't. One time is more than enough for me. The first time was good to see but after it lacks interest

Fullmetal Alchemist is 'always' the top 1 because it's good in both English and Japanese. I love both Naruto and FMA. But I only love one of them in English. Guess which one.
Naruto in English...now that's torture. (not that all the voices are bad...just most of them)

Because it's an excellent anime.
I prefer watching in English (makes sence, since that's my native language, and the only one I understand fully.), but will watch in Japanese with English subtitles if it's on the computer (It's easier to read on the computer than on the TV).
My favorite character is Ed Elric. Al's a sweetie, too.

Fullmetal Alchemist is one of the greatest, and i do mean greatest, anime series of all time. Anyone who wants to bash it should die right now so they can get a head start at burning in hell.

In Japan, people are like Omigod I like totally love Full Metal. And Naruto. Trust me.This kid in my school is like totally anime.
