i have to make a newspaper for english class, its based on Othello, well the lead sotry and some of the topics but its mostly revovling around the 1600s. since its a newspaper i need to put in advertisements, do you have any ideas?? i cant put anything recent, and im realy lost. please help me.

Maybe you could google some of the odd health care type products from the period. I think around then they didn't use toothbrushes, but used rags or sometime a bone with some hairs in it. I think they also used items then that we know to be hazardous now, such as arsenic and mercury. Anyways, those could be informative, and yet funny and entertaining advertisements to create.

adverstise things and events that were happening during the 1600s such as in 1620 the submarine was invented and you could advertise a ride in the submarine.

1600s...advertise wine vinyards,or grapes for wine making...wine was huge in the 15th/16th century,more so then than now.Bread was big too,so you can advertise,wheat or grain..also advertise thread for spinning.advertise slave auctions. all of these were during this time good luck be creative......ps..I just read the submarine theme...dont do that,it will no be accurate because it was in a whole different region..
